Archery Range
The Peachland Sportsmen's Association maintains a winter indoor
archery range at Fourth Street Place in Peachland. The range length is
approximately 50 feet, and the targets are placed on wood framed butts
which have plastic stuffing.

The range is open during winter on Thursday and Sunday nights, from
approximately 7:30pm until 9pm. Anywhere from three to ten archers are
present on a typical evening, firing everything from compound bows with
composite arrows, to traditional longbows or recurves with wooden
arrows.

The range is closed for the summer, but reopens each winter. You
must be a BCWF member to attend (guests who are not BCWF members are
allowed for one session only). The cost is $2.00, which is used for
range improvements such as additional curtains and targets. As the Town
of Peachland is discussing charging for use of Fourth Street Place to
defray heating costs, the range fee could be higher for 2002-2003.
